Sister Organisation Visits

Major boost for funding

HOPE worldwide Zimbabwe celebrated a milestone as discussions led by Jane and Sharon, alongside HOPE worldwide USA and South Africa, secured crucial funding.

This included full coverage of 2023 administrative costs, freeing the board to focus on strategy and the team on programs.

With over 50% of needs met until June 2024, we thank our UK and USA partners and all for their prayers and support!

Executive tour

Dr. Julius Nguku from HOPE worldwide Kenya visited in November 2023.

During his visit, our chairman and a board member engaged with him, gaining insights and resources on safeguarding policies, financial controls, governance, and reporting.

He also visited our sites in Mufakose with Tapiwa and the team, offering valuable guidance to strengthen our programs and operations.

Comrades Marathon Fundraiser (#RUNFORHOPE)

A total of USD 2,321 was raised by our participants in the Comrades Marathon, and the entire amount was allocated to pay school fees for children in Mufakose. Proceeds benefitted 49 students across 10 schools, most of them at the primary level. This remarkable achievement created a profound impact in the community. Special thanks to Snrs. Gondongwe and Gurupira for their generosity and dedication!
