Brief History of
HOPE worldwide Zimbabwe
HOPE worldwide Zimbabwe is a registered charity based in Harare, founded in 1992. Initially focused on HIV awareness and home-based care with volunteers from the Harare International Church of Christ, the organization has grown to serve thousands of vulnerable individuals across the country.
As an affiliate of HOPE worldwide (Atlanta, USA), we share a mission of Inspiring Greater Hope, supporting Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and families in need, especially in Mufakose, where we have worked for 32 years.
Our programs are funded by international partners like the International Churches of Christ, the Coca-Cola Foundation, USAID, Astra Paints, Plascon, and generous donors. Since becoming a Private Voluntary Organization in 2017, we continue to address the material, mental, physical, spiritual, and social needs of those we serve.
Together, we aim to bring lasting hope and transform lives.

Hatredge is a Strategic and Marketing Consultant with a vast experience in Business and Brand Development, Customer Experience Management (CX) and Market Research. He is a Qualified Digital Marketer and also a Certified Graphic Designer and Social Media business strategist.
Noeline toronga
Treasurer
Noeline is an Experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist with commended performances and strong administrative and organizational skills. Currently working as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at National Blood Service Zimbabwe (NBSZ).
Holds Quality Assurance Certificates of training and attainment from :
– Standard Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ), South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), Unit credit awards City & Guilds, Certificate in Principles & Practices – Zimbabwe Institute of Management ,International Online English Tutor
Registrations: Medical Laboratory and Clinical Scientists – Zimbabwe , Australian Institute of Medical Scientists (AIMS), Medical Sciences of New Zealand

Tsitsi is a Human resources and organisational development practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in training and development. She is also an ISO 9001, 14001 Systems Auditor.
Edwin Shumba
Committee Member
Edwin is the Evangelist for the Harare International Church of Christ and serves as an ex-officio member of the church Board. He recently assumed the responsibility of Regional Family Chairperson for International Churches of Christ in the SADC Region
